You'll almost have the beach to yourself
- Port Charlotte is one of the best value for
money areas for vacation rental villas on the Gulf Coast with
nicely furnished homes with private pools
- Very quiet countrified
location but shops and restaurants are only a few
minutes drive away
- A pretty beach on the Peace
River is about 5 - 10 minutes drive away
- Not much in the way of
nightlife or man - made entertainment, but all the
familiar restaurants such as Red Lobster, Olive
Garden, Burger King and McDonalds are there.
- Sarasota and Fort Myers
are about an hour away from Port Charlotte and Naples and the Everglades
about an hour and a half by car.
